| Description | On the way to the top of Mt. Iwaki, a stratovolcano located in west Aomori, there is a pole that stands at an incredible viewing spot. It is one of the Peace Poles and it says “May peace prevail on Earth”. The Peace Poles were started in Japan and are featured in over 180 countries. Looking down on the beautiful, calming landscape of autumn in Aomori can bring a sense of peace to any visitor. |
