| Description | Japan is famous for its many natural hot springs, but few locations boast views as unique as the Koganezakifurofushi Hot Spring in Aomori Prefecture. Although there are indoor hot springs within the hotel, the main attraction is the open-air springs, located literally on top of the adjacent rocky coastline. Here, you can enjoy the warm sodium and iron-rich waters (which give the spring its brown color) while watching the waves of the Japan Sea crash around you.
